How To Break Barriers To Success While Standing In Your True Value

Today’s guest has been called the real-life Wizard of Oz and has strived to live up to that reputation. Steve Sims is the founder of Bluefish, the world’s first luxury concierge service that provides top-notch entertainment, travel and transportation to celebrities, executives and entrepreneurs alike.

In addition to his work with Bluefish, Steve is also a coach, author and podcast host, among other things. His bottom line is helping fellow entrepreneurs get the most out of their business, while also providing the best service to his own clients.

Steve shares his business wisdom, which was set in place for him at a young age by his father. “No one drowns from falling in the water, they drown by staying there”, meaning if you stay in a state of failure, you will only continue to fail. If you’re drowning, you have to find a way out.

His advice for budding entrepreneurs is to forget about branding. If you focus on what you do, what you can solve for your clients and how you interact with them, they will do the branding for you. No matter what, always be transparent.

Stay true to who you are and don’t worry about what you look like, what car you drive or how nice your house is. The important thing is that your clients are happy.

Learn more about Steve by visiting his website or by picking up a copy of his book. Steve also hosts “The Art of Making Things Happen” podcast, where he interviews entrepreneurs from all walks of life. Interested in traveling the world or seeing your favorite performers?
